Florida Rapper & Jammiah Broomfield Agree On How To Raise King Khalid

Kodak Black may have just been indicted on rape charges, but there’s one case he’s scored a victory on.

The teen rapper, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, has finally reached an agreement with his toddler son’s mother, Jammiah Broomfield, that establishes child support and lets him see the boy, named King Khalid, regularly, Broomfield’s lawyer Sarah Lawrence told BOSSIP.

The child support and custody deal, hashed out Oct. 3, was borne out a nine-hour mediation session between Broomfield and Kodak Black, according to Lawrence.

“This was not easy to get to, but they love the kid, and he’s a cute little boy,” Lawrence said. “It’s a shame (about the indictment) because ours resolved itself nicely.”

Lawrence also said that despite their once-rocky relationship, Kodak Black and Broomfield are now co-parenting effectively for little King Khalid, 2.

“They are getting along,” she said.

Kodak Black sued Broomfield last year to establish paternity, gain partial custody and pay child support. Each side had filed motions to curtail the other’s access to the baby. Broomfield requested that a guardian is appointed to supervise Kodak Black’s visitations, while the “Skrt” rapper asked for joint custody the tot. However, both sides were able to work out their differences and come up with an agreeement that they can live with, Lawrence said.

Lawrence said his new indictment on sex assault charges in South Carolina most likely will not affect his deal with Broomfield.
