One day, he could become King of England – but EastEnders star Danny Dyer still has to do as he’s told by his wife, especially when it comes to his health.

In a sentence we never thought we’d write, Danny Dyer has revealed that his wife Joanne Mas “bullied” him into going for a colonic irrigation. Why? Because she “loves and lives for them”, of course.

Danny dropped the bombshell at daughter Dani Dyer’s book launch, who revealed she had also opened up to the alternative therapy. Ahem.

While reflecting on the procedure, which flushes your bowels with warm water, Danny argued that nature should be allowed to take its course ( The Sun): “I was bullied into it to be fair. We have bowels and we’re supposed to naturally go to the toilet.”

He’s not wrong.

“But with a colonic– you’re sitting in a surgery with someone putting a tube up your arse and you think, ‘What am I doing?'”.

In other news – that has nothing to do with bodily functions – it was recently revealed that national treasure Danny Dyer is not the reason for his daughter’s not-so-inventive name.

Yes, in dizzying news, the Love Island star explained that it was actually her mum who picked the name Dani – and her reason for doing so might just surprise you.
