It seems all could be forgiven between Lewis Burton and Love Island presenter Caroline Flack, as the former has supported his girlfriend on social media.

Flack hit the headlines yesterday (December 13) when police arrested her for alleged assault, following reports of a domestic incident between the pair in the early hours of Thursday (December 12).

However, posting on his Instagram Stories, the tennis pro shared a photo of the two together looking loved up, with a heart emoji hovering above them.

A police spokesperson also shared a statement with the publication, stating: “Caroline Flack of Islington was charged on Friday, 13 December with assault by beating.

“She will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 23 December.

“This follows an incident at approximately 05:25hrs on Thursday, 12 December after reports of a man assaulted. He was not seriously injured.”

Flack has yet to directly address the incident herself, although the recent social media post from Burton suggests a positive outlook.

Last month, Flack was forced to deny engagement rumours after fans got a little carried away with one of her Instagram Stories.

In it, she was sporting a diamond ring, but a spokesperson for the TV star confirmed to Digital Spy that this meant nothing.
