Lil Uzi Vert is able to name it quits with music. Seemingly disgruntled with the best way his profession has been dealt with for a while now, the "XO Tour Liif3" rapper made the shock announcement on Instagram on Friday (Jan. 11).
“I wanna take the day out to say I thank each one in all my supporters however I’m achieved with music,” Uzi wrote with an image of his Gucci socks on his Instagram Story. “I deleted all the things. I wanna be regular … I wanna get up in 2013.”
He ended the put up with, “Thank you like you. You are free.”
Just a number of weeks again, Uzi appeared on Shabazz PBG's new tune "Shells," and hinted that he's attempting to get out of his take care of Atlantic Records.
"Tryna work out how I'm gonna get out my deal/I'm a foul boy, a reverend, I really feel like I'm Mase," Uzi raps. "Your bitch with me however she bought to go away by eight."
This wasn't the primary time Uzi voiced his frustrations along with his state of affairs, both.
In April 2017, Uzi was vocal about pressure behind-the-scenes, and blamed an unnamed particular person (that many believed to be DJ Drama) for the delay of his debut album, Luv Is Rage 2.
"Can I truthfully inform y'all why this album ain't drop," Uzi wrote on Twitter on the time. "It's due to a Old Person who doesn't Understand what's happening proper now……Can You Guess Who?"
It looks as if all the drama has caught up with the Philadelphia native, and he's simply able to step away from all of it.
