An arrest warrant was issued for R. Kelly’s ex-manager after he allegedly threatened the household of one of many alleged accusers.
According to CNN, James Mason allegedly threatened to kill the daddy of Joycelyn Savage, one of many girls featured within the Lifetime docuseries, Surviving R. Kelly. Mason allegedly made the menace towards Timothy Savage in May 2018.
In an incident report obtained by CNN, Mr. Savage acknowledged that Mason stated, "I'm gonna do hurt to you and your loved ones, once I see you I'm gonna get you, I'm going to fucking kill you.” Mr. Savage later filed a police report in Georgia's Harris County.
The report was then despatched to a Justice of the Peace decide in Georgia, who issued an arrest warrant towards Mason for his “terroristic threats and acts” in July 2018.
Joycelyn Savage’s household appeared within the Lifetime’s docuseries claiming that R. Kelly kidnapped their daughter and is holding her towards her will. Joycelyn has beforehand denied her mother and father' declare that she's being held towards her will in a video interview launched in 2017.
When reached for an announcement on Wednesday morning (Jan. 9), Mason advised CNN he had "no remark" and deferred extra inquiries to his lawyer.
