West End sensation Everybody’s Talking About Jamie has featured multiple stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race since it began – Michelle Visage, RPDR UK‘s Vinegar Strokes and iconic US season 6 winner Bianca Del Rio have all been involved in the production.

In exciting news, Bianca will be reprising her role of Hugo at the Apollo Theatre from December 9. It’s only a limited stint lasting 12 weeks, though, so don’t sleep on getting tickets if you want to see her.

That’s not the only casting news. Former EastEnders actress and criminally ignored pop star Preeya Kalidas will be playing Miss Hedge from November 19. This is the role Visage previously played, before Steps’ Faye Tozer and fellow ‘Ender Rita Simons took over.

Bianca recently spoke about how she didn’t enjoy people thinking of her as a role model, telling Digital Spy: “I’m a man in a wig who is an entertainer, I’m not a role model.

“I don’t want that responsibility and how dare anyone put you on that platform.

“Even if you take someone like RuPaul, no matter what she does, people are still going to find something they don’t like about her. You just can’t win.

“(Drag Race is) a reality show. They are creating content and awkwardness and games to make it exciting for people to watch and that is just the way it is, that’s not my real life.

“What I choose to say or do in my real life is my business, that’s for you to figure out as audience members.”
