Los Angeles, CA – The premise Snoop Dogg’s new album I Wanna Thank Me that will b released this Friday is to give himself and his crew flowers to celebrate his legacy as a pillar in Hip Hop and pop culture.
On Tuesday, the Long Beach legend released the second installment his mini-documentary series to relish in his life achievements.
In the 20-minute video, Snoop and his closest associates discuss in multiple interview clips about The Doggfather’s balance hubris and humility as learned how to brand himself and sustain success throughout almost 30 years in show business.
Several scenes this documentary include Snoop receiving his Hollywood Walk Of Fame star in 2018, he and his friends paying homage to Ice Cube by boisterously rapping “The Nigga Ya Love To Hate” lyrics verbatim to rejoice after the ceremony, talking about his earlier career days with his biggest influencers such as Dr. Dre, Warren G and Snoop’s other late 213 bandmate Nate Dogg, and thanking his team during recording sessions.
Appearances in the film include Snoop’s father Vernell Vernado, Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh, Jimmy Kimmel, and veteran Hip Hop photographer Chi Modu.
