Woodstock Co-Founder Defends Having JAY-Z, Chance The Rapper & Common On Lineup

Watkins Glen, NY – JAY-Z, Chance The Rapper and Common are only a few the acts that have been presupposed to open Woodstock 50 as much as a brand new viewers. Instead, the lineup was met with griping from pageant purists. But Woodstock co-creator Michael Lang is having none it.

In an interview with TMZ, Lang stands his floor and says the lineup was curated deliberately to draw a youthful technology, simply as the primary pageant in 1969 did.

“It’s not one thing we’re planning on doing yearly, the 50th is a particular anniversary,” Lang explains. “We’re hoping to have interaction folks in social discourse and provides them an unimaginable weekend, one which they’ll hopefully bear in mind for the remaining their lives.”
